The talk will start with an overview of the main lines of investigations of the Sliding Mode Control Laboratory of National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).
Than 3 strategies for Arbitrary Order Sliding Mode Surfaces Design (AOSMSSD) will be discussed :

- AOSSD basing on pole placement
- AOSSD basing on singular optimal control
- AOSSD for Hinfty based compensation of unmatched uncertainties
